Years ago when Ken and I were dating. Ken told me all the attributes of all his former flames. At some point I grew tired of this and I asked Ken, “And what about me?”
Ken promptly replied, “You’re durable.”
Not exactly romantic, but coming from Ken that was a compliment!
Judith, I am sorry to hear of your loss. My husband, Tom, and I used to enjoy stopping at your home to buy pots and other garden produce. Tom has also passed away. I hope he and Ken run into each other in heaven! All good to you.
Oh, yes I remember you well. Ken enjoyed your visits and said you and Tom really looked at every pot and found some of the nicest ones.
